La fruita del demà agrupa deu relats distòpics i utòpics sobre les vulneracions dels drets de les persones temporeres de la fruita i els drets de la pagesia. Només a Ponent, cada any unes 35.000 persones treballadores temporals, la majoria migrades, són requerides per collir, embalar i emmagatzemar la collita de la fruita. Bona part dels contractadors compleixen el conveni agrari, però d’altres no ho fan i les administracions no estant resolent la situació. El compendi La fruita del demà és fruit d’un concurs literari impulsat per Fruita amb Justícia Social i Pol·len.
