After four long years of waiting RESAKA SONORA finally release their second longplayer “Frekuenzia”. If you have ever experienced the 9-piece Combat Ska band from Bordeaux live or if you know the great debut “Buenaventura”, you will definitely enjoy this album.12 sophisticated energetic hymns between Ska, Reggae, Punk, Oi and a little bit of Dancehall invite you to dance, sing along, visit the stadium or to fight. Political lyrics in French, Spanish and Italian refer to the band’s lived internationalist attitude. With regard to content, the revolutionary desire for a different, solidary world runs through the record. Various historical and current struggles in which people lost their fear and took to the streets from 1921 to 2020, from Kronstadt to Rojava, are sung about. And of course the many beautiful moments between friends and comrades, going out together on a never ending weekend and drinking all the pubs empty are not missed out.
